Below is a summary of our current key programs for U.S. full-time salaried employees.
Health Insurance
Hyster employees and their eligible dependants receive a comprehensive medical package which includes medical, dental and vision benefits. The Medical coverage is through Blue Cross Blue Shield. The Company offers a wide variety of coverage options. Dental insurance provides such benefits as 100% coverage for routine preventive care.
Life Insurance
The Company provides life insurance equal to one times your annual base salary. Additional life insurance is available.
Disability
Short and Long Term disability are available and funded by the company. These benefits increase with length of service and begin immediately upon employment.
Flexible Spending
Flexible spending accounts allow you to help lower the costs of dependent and health care by allowing you to plan ahead using pre-tax dollars.
Retirement
Enrollment in the employee retirement plan, administered through Vanguard, is automatic upon your date of hire and vested at 20% each year. The plan consists of a 401(k) savings feature in which the company makes matching contributions based on a percentage of the employees’ Pre-Tax contributions and a Profit Sharing feature through which a minimum annual contribution is made.
Educational Reimbursement
To help employees reach their full potential in terms of career development, the Company seeks to provide effective growth opportunities for all employees. Financial assistance is available to those who wish to increase their job effectiveness and personal competence through voluntary participation in outside educational courses. This program provides for the refund of tuition charges, registration and lab fees for eligible classes up to $5,000 per calendar year.
