The Hiring Process 

 

Our hiring decisions are based on an objective evaluation of your skills, experiences and competencies. A brief explanation of our process will help you understand what you should expect.

    1. Candidates should review the current openings and apply for the positions in which he/she is interested, possess the skills, match the minimum requirements of the job and fall within an acceptable salary range.
    2. Candidates should click on the email link attached to the position they are interested in being considered for and submit a resume detailing their work experience.  The subject line should reference the title of the position you are interested in.
    3. Following your resume submission you will receive an applicant data form asking you to provide information.  As a government contractor we are required to comply with certain government regulations and affirmative action requirements.  Please assist us by providing this voluntary information which will be solely used for reporting purposes.  Submission of the applicant data form will generate another email asking you to complete the form again. This is not necessary as we only request one completed form.
    4. One of our recruiters will review and identify those candidates whose skills and experiences match the job requirements as detailed in the job description.
    5. Those candidates who have the experience and skills that best match the role will be selected to continue through the process.
    6. Candidates chosen to move forward in the interview process will be notified by a Hyster recruiter with next steps.
    7. Only Candidates moving forward will receive notification.
    8. Please note: Some positions may require assessments during the selection process. The recruiter will inform the candidate if this applies to the position he or she is seeking.
    9. The interview/screening process varies with each opportunity. The recruiter will communicate the process and interview timeline for the position.
    10. If an offer is extended, a background check and drug screen must be initiated for all hires. You are required to complete an I-9 form in order to verify eligibility to work in the United States.
