Hyster Company's Invitation to Compare Event Returns for Third Consecutive Year
Event compares electric trucks from Hyster, Crown, Toyota & Caterpillar
(GREENVILLE, N.C., USA: July 15, 2009) Hyster Company, a leading lift truck designer and manufacturer in North America, recently announced the dates for this year’s Invitation to Compare (ITC) events. Building on the success of previous years’ events, this year’s ITC will focus on Hyster®, Crown™, Toyota™ and Caterpillar™ electric sit-down rider lift trucks.
The Hyster Invitation to Compare lets customers experience live, side-by-side comparisons of electric lift trucks from four of the largest manufacturers in the industry. Attendees can compare the trucks to each other in terms of speed, energy consumption, ergonomics and overall value as engineers perform live evaluations of each product. As the tests are performed, members of the audience use a Value Index Worksheet to evaluate each truck based on productivity, uptime and value characteristics.

The first electric ITC event will be held at Arnold Machinery in Eagan, Minnesota on July 20. The events continue through the summer and fall with stops in cities including Wyoming, Michigan; Charlotte, North Carolina; Tucson, Arizona; and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
