HYSTER ADDS NEW STACKER TRUCKS TO WAREHOUSE PORTFOLIO

Hyster boosts its range of warehouse equipment with the launch of a new series of stacker models, re-enforcing the company’s strength in the warehousing sector as a full-line equipment supplier.

The S1.0-1.2 and S1.4-1.6 Hyster stacker trucks feature some of the latest innovations in truck technology for increased performance, reliability and reduced service costs when handling open sided pallets.

“This comprehensive range of powered pedestrian stackers are compact and powerful, delivering energy efficiency for the most demanding warehouses, They are ideal for working in confined areas and for goods storage in mid to high racking.” explains Robert O’Donoghue, General Manager for Hyster Warehouse Products.
The AC traction motor delivers fast acceleration, travel speed and direction control and can be adjusted to match the performance needed for a particular site, resulting in more loads moved per hour. Operator safety and productivity are a priority too, with high visibility masts, dual lift and lower controls, regenerative braking and excellent motor and control efficiency, Hyster has also helped to minimise energy consumption and increase battery shift life. Combined with a choice of battery sizes, the trucks can be tailored to suit shift patterns efficiently, ensuring maximum truck availability.

“Ergonomically, the trucks have been developed with the comfort of all types of operators in mind, to ensure maximum productivity, regardless of the user’s stature or strength. All controls are located within easy reach on the tiller head with the butterfly control precisely regulating speed, braking and travel direction for left or right handed operators.” Robert O’Donoghue continues “The tiller head requires minimum effort to steer and promotes operator control.

To reduce both downtime and maintenance costs Hyster employs the latest technology to provide optimum component reliability such as maintenance free AC traction, contributing to extended service intervals of 1,000 hours. CANbus communication allows continuous feedback and fast communications between components and therefore improves troubleshooting through the easily accessible Driver Diagnostic Interface. Each model is built with a robust steel chassis helping to protect all components from driver impact/damage with a display that indicates operating status, maintenance requirements, hours used and battery power.

All stacker models have fixed motor assemblies, load wheels with polyurethane tyres and are available with 980 or 1160 mm fork lengths. Standard warranty is 2 years / 4000 hours which can be extended to 3 years / 6000 hours.

Stacker advancements are just some of the recent additions to the Hyster warehouse range. With the company’s new electric counterbalance models, unbeatable VNA solutions and highly productive reach trucks and order pickers. Hyster has become an important partner for logistics and distribution operations across Europe.
