H16-22XM-12EC Series

The H16-22XM-12EC machine features exceptionally strong mast and frame design to facilitate empty container handling operations up to eight high in a single stack, delivering an effective solution for high density empty container storage applications.

The series is available with a modern clean-running Diesel engine, standard oil-immersed brakes, robust drive-axle and advanced auto-shift transmission, which all combine to maintain maximum productivity and reliability during operation in demanding applications.

Engine and transmission protection systems are standard to ensure reliable operation.
The rear-mounted Hyster “Vista” cab, offers an outstanding range of standard ergonomic features, plus excellent container visibility at all times.
8-high container stacking capability thanks to 2-on-6 handling option with hooks and sideclamps or double-horizontal twistlocks feature on the spreader.
High performance and efficient hydraulics and a powerful powertrain, offering class leading mast lift speeds for fast, efficient handling.
An engine shutdown function and tilting cab for easy service access minimise service time and cost.
This series is now available with a Stage IIIB emissions compliant Cummins Diesel Engine, featuring an Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) after-treatment system. Combining cooled EGR with a new High Pressure Common Rail fuel system enables cleaner and more efficient combustion and effectively controls NOx emissions. A fully integrated Cummins Diesel Particulate Filter also contributes to reducing emissions by more than 95%.
This series is available with the award-winning Hyster Tyre Saver Drive Axle, which has been designed to significantly extend tyre life and result in significant operational cost savings. This tyre saving technology allows each of a pair of front (drive) wheels to turn independently, so reducing tyre drag against the ground and unwanted wear. The reduction in tyre wear can extend tyre life on the front tyres by up to 3 times and on the rear tyres but up to 1½ times.
