Hyster Fortens Range 

The Fortens Range is suitable for heavy duty applications as it provides:

  • Excellent dependability, with robust design and relialbe operation, able to work non-stop in harsh environments, thanks to an efficient cooling system and reliable electronics.
    • The radiator system, combined with an open counterweight tunnel provides superior cooling to maintain low operating temperatures in heavy duty environments.
    • Electronics are controlled by a CANbus communication system, managed by the PaceSetter VSM on-board computer.
    • Delivers truck dependability, maximum uptime and superior productivity

  • Extended service intervals, with simple daily checks to minimise downtime.
    • Standard maintenance interval of 500 hours along with reduced service requirements on all major components and simplified daily checks.
    • Daily fluid checks located on the same side of the truck, with automatic start-up checks available on the dash display (brake fluid, transmission fluid and coolant fluid). 
    • Engine coolant and hydraulic oil change intervals are 4000 hours.
    • Hyster Premium oil-immersed brakes (where fitted) require minimum maintenance.
    • These features contribute to minimising truck downtime and increased productivity.
