Remanufacturing is the most thorough method of renewing parts and it's environmentally friendly - reusing parts rather than tossing them in our landfills.
Remanufacturing involves the complete disassembly and cleaning of the components and then a complete set of new parts are used to replace wearable internal parts regardless of age, wear or mileage. By contrast, "rebuilt" or "reconditioned" parts may be disassembled but only worn, broke, or missing parts are repaired or replaced.
The UNISOURCE Reman Parts Program includes several commodities - alternators, starters and water pumps, engines, transmissions, electric motors, armatures, torque converters and control cards.
