The J1.5-2.0XNT is a tough, energy-efficient three-wheeled electric counterbalanced forklift truck that offers class-leading manoeuvrability, low maintenance requirements and the optimum balance of energy consumption.

Designed to deliver a low cost of operation, the Hyster® J1.5-2.0XNT is suitable for intense and demanding indoor or outdoor applications.

Robust design

A robust chassis construction, combined with steel hoods and durable side covers to protect from impact damage, makes the J1.5-2.0XNT one of the toughest and most stable electric forklift trucks in the industry. IP54 enclosed traction motors and IP65 protection of controls, prevent ingress of water and dust particles, reducing the probability of truck breakdown.

Precise handling

Dual front-wheel AC drive motors provides smooth acceleration and excellent travel and torque performance. This is combined with powerful acceleration and auto regenerative braking to deliver precise efficient load handling. The ECO-eLo setting is designed to assure full shift of work on each charge and the High Performance (HiP) setting gives impressive truck performance.

Operator-friendly design

Within the operator cab there is generous foot space, intuitive pedal arrangement and low step and hood heights providing a comfortable working space. This means on/off access and driving in reverse causes less fatigue over long shifts. The steering column is infinitely adjustable via adjustable gas spring support and optional height adjustment is also available. The memory tilt option allows the steering column to be released to the most vertical position to allow the operator to get off the truck easily. When returning to the cab, the operator simply pulls the steer column back to the pre-set position.

Vehicle System Manager (VSM)

The VSM delivers diagnostic data to the dash display, enabling operators to anticipate maintenance needs and quickly carry out fault diagnosis. AC motor technology on traction and hoist allows the truck to work more reliably for longer periods, significantly reducing downtime. The automatic park brake system can be released manually by activating the lever arrangement underneath the floor plates. This results in reduced downtime.

Less downtime

Durable, quality components provide the reassurance of long term reliability and lower maintenance costs. Virtually maintenance free components such as brushless AC motors mean that the electrics require a full service check only after 1 000 hours. In-built thermal protection on traction motors and advanced cooling system protect truck components, leading to reduced maintenance costs. Fast delivery of diagnostic information allows precise troubleshooting, easy maintenance planning and lower costs. E-braking and Steering systems reduce ‘wear parts’ and and are less vulnerable to ingress of dirt and floor debris, reducing maintenance costs.
