Vitesse Forklift Rental operates in Waalhaven and Rotterdam ports, offering trucks for both rent and sale. Rental agreements can range from one day to indefinite.

Founded over 70 years ago under the name Katendrecht, Vitesse Forklift Rental now has an extensive rental fleet of diesel, electric and LPG forklift trucks, with a range of load capacities from 1.5 to 48 tons. The fleet also includes container handlers, four-wheel drive all terrain forklift trucks, telescopic handlers and container ramps. The fleet of trucks available to hire has expanded from 14 to more than 500. The company also offers a selection of specialist attachments including rotating paper roll clamps, bale clamps, wide tables, fork clamps, and a rotating drum clamp.

Hyster equipment was selected because many of Vitesse’s customers require environmentally friendly equipment that offer low emissions and energy use.

• Emissions have been reduced as the Hyster ReachStackers provide low fuel consumption. On average, the Hyster ReachStackers are 18% more efficient than the previous models used. Being ‘green’ or environmentally friendly is also important to the customer
• Expenditure is reduced thanks to the reduced fuel consumption of the Hyster equipment
• A close working relationship between Vitesse, Hyster and the local distribution partner has developed over a number of years
• Minimised downtime is achieved thanks to the service support provided through the local Hyster distribution partner and the conveniently located Hyster Big Truck factor in Nijmegen for rapid and focused parts supply, if required
• Reliability is delivered by the dependable and durable Hyster equipment
• Space is optimised thanks to the Hyster Fortens trucks which feature special low container masts and cabins and are used to unload trucks and containers
• Emissions regulations are met by the LPG trucks, which can be operated indoors. These trucks are often required in the assembly and disassembly of exhibitions and trade shows and although the halls are large and tall, diesel engines are no longer allowed to operate in them.
