Visitors to stand B50 at TOC Europe Exhibition and Conference, held at the Ahoy in Rotterdam from 25-27 June, will learn how the latest Hyster H8-16XM series forklift trucks deliver significant cost savings to Ports and Terminals operations.
“When Hyster exhibited at TOC 2012 in Belgium, we demonstrated ways of achieving significant fuel savings, providing evidence from busy terminal operators that had successfully introduced new Hyster ReachStackers, empty container handlers or forklift trucks to their operations” says Chris van de Werdt, Sales Manager for Hyster Big Trucks. “Now we will explain how the latest Stage IIIB compliant H8-16XM-6 trucks use significantly less fuel to do more work than the previous generation models.”
Following the Hyster approach to low emissions container handling trucks, the Hyster® H8-16XM ninth generation series of 8-16 tonne lift capacity Hyster® Big Trucks has been designed for use in demanding applications, including within the ports and terminals, logistics and heavy industry sectors.
Considerable fuel savings of up to 17% can be achieved using the smaller H8-12XM-6 series, thanks to engine rightsizing and advanced ECO-eLo control systems, which are now available on all Stage IIIB configurations.
In support of demanding materials handling operations in ports and terminals, as well as within paper, metals and heavy industry applications, Hyster has introduced a new Wireless Access Monitoring System, Hyster® Tracker to enable effective fleet management.
Hyster® Tracker is designed to enhance productivity by monitoring and reporting on the performance and use of forklift trucks and container handling trucks in operation. Specialists will be available on the Hyster stand at TOC to discuss various materials handling challenges and solutions with visitors. The fuel efficient Hyster ReachStacker will be on display in the outside area.
The Terminal Operations Exhibition is a platform for port equipment manufacturers and solution providers to showcase their services to an audience of terminal operators and port authorities. The Container Supply Chain Conference is a forum for the major stakeholders of the supply chain to come together and debate critical issues affecting the time and cost effective transportation of containerised cargo from shipper to destination.
Hyster has a global network of distribution partners to support terminal operators all over the world and can provide numerous examples of proven fuel savings and exceptional service support.
