From Tuesday 2nd to Thursday 4th July, Hyster will be exhibiting on stand 29 at the event in Constanta, Romania, accompanied by local dealer partner, CEMPS. Talk to the team on the stand to discover how Hyster® solutions can help support tough ports and terminals across the full range of handling requirements.
HVO fuel reduces emissions by 90%
For businesses who want to reduce emissions from their fleet, electrification is not the only option available from Hyster. HVO100 (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) is a cleaner fuelling option, available now, to help businesses start their journey towards reducing CO2 emissions.
HVO fuel is available now for many Hyster Container Handlers, ReachStackers and Big Trucks, offering up to 90% reduction in CO2 emissions compared to diesel. This enables businesses to take action on lowering their emissions in the short term, while considering electrification for the future.

New dual source supply chain for Hyster port equipment
Hyster has recently implemented a strategic initiative which will see Hyster RS45 ReachStackers, as well as Hyster Empty Container Handlers, provided from different production locations, but with the same quality and performance. These Hyster ReachStackers feature Stage IIIA compliant engines, making them well suited for export to and use in non-regulated markets.
The dual source strategy is part of a commitment to meet the needs of the global market and deliver economically viable Hyster trucks efficiently to customers. Find out more by speaking to Hyster at Black and Caspian Sea Ports & Logistics 2024.
Electric Hyster forklifts for intense port applications
Many businesses are aiming to reduce emissions and achieve sustainability goals. Here, battery electric Hyster lift trucks can help, with capacities up to 18 tonnes. For example, the tough lithium-ion battery powered Hyster J10-18XD lift truck series may help deliver IC-like performance in intense port handling environments.
Hyster continues to develop solutions for port equipment electrification. For example, a Hyster hydrogen fuel-cell powered ReachStacker is in its pilot phase in the Port of Valencia, Spain. Hyster is also currently developing zero-emission Empty Container Handler options. To help move ports closer to total electrification, Hyster is also harnessing the clean power of hydrogen and lithium-ion batteries in the development of zero-emissions terminal tractors.
Let’s discuss these exciting developments at Black and Caspian Sea Ports & Logistics 2024.
